Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. They are responsible for product development, and qualification from market definition through production and release; assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. They create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.

Responsabilidades

  • Desenvolver novos produtos de conectividade para veículos híbridos e elétricos;

  • Desenvolver soluções, com base nas necessidades dos clientes e trabalhar alinhado com os recursos globais da TE;

  • Adaptar e reconfigurar os projetos de produtos existentes para melhorar o desempenho, a capacidade de fabricação e visar redução de custos;

  • Suportar estudos de viabilidade e testes em novos produtos;

  • Criar toda a documentação necessária do produto, incluindo, modelos sólidos, desenhos, especificações do produto e da aplicação, DFMEAs, análise de tolerância, planos de ação e relatórios de testes;

  • Manter toda a documentação dos projetos atualizadas através dos sistemas utilizados;

  • Dirigir e apoiar a concepção detalhada do produto, a fabricação de protótipos, os testes e os feedbacks para melhorias;

  • Trabalhar em estreita colaboração com as equipes de lançamento de novos produtos e com o time fabril para garantir o lançamento eficaz dos produtos.

Competências

  • Graduação completa em Engenharia Mecânica ou Elétrica;

  • Experiência em design e desenvolvimento de produtos para o mercado automotivo;

  • Inglês avançado para conversação;

  • Experiência em desenvolvimento de terminais e conectores para automóveis;

  • Conhecimento em materiais, processos de fabricação (estampagem, injeção plástica, etc.);

  • Familiaridade com arquiteturas e conectividade de veículos híbridos e elétricos;

  • Experiência em ferramentas técnicas como CAD 3D (PTC Creo preferencialmente), ferramentas de simulação (ANSYS preferencialmente), DoE, FMEA e QFD;

  • Pacote Office completo e avançado;

  • Disponibilidade para viagens;

  • Disponibilidade para atuar de forma híbrida em Bragança Paulista - SP.
