Thames Valley Council for Community Action Production Chef in Bozrah, Connecticut

Assists with all activities of the Commissary to prepare and present all

food items to be delivered to a variety of clients. Travel to various sites where

food will be prepared, presented and served. Prepare food in accordance with current

applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations with established

TVCCA’s policies and procedures. Assist the Commissary staff in packaging and

assembly of food products and supplies needed for nutrition sites. Assist in daily cleaning

and sanitation of commissary equipment, pots, pans, utensils, floors and refrigeration units.

Required Skills

Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and two years of experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and four years of experience cooking in the food industry.

Possess a valid ServSafe or equivalent certificate, or complete certification within six months of start date.

Basic computer skills required.
