Wood County Hospital Vascular Sonographer - PD in Bowling Green, Ohio

Wood County Hospital has a Vascular Sonographer position available. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily clinical operations of vascular studies; using ultrasound to visualize internal vascular structures, obtain measurements and visualize blood flow. 

Job Details:

  • Demonstrates proficiency by performing routine and emergency vascular studies, including ultrasounds and peripheral vascular testing

  • Properly stores and operates equipment necessary to perform all required procedures and to obtain optimal diagnostic recordings. Maintains equipment in working order, making minor adjustments and repairs.

  • Performs routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and reports any equipment malfunction to Director. Prepares preliminary reports for review and interpretation by vascular surgeon, including comparison of previous studies.

    Shift Details: 

    Hours: Per Diem 

    Shift:   7:30 am - 5:00 pm

    Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of a Vascular Sonography Program

    Preferred Certification:

  • RDMS required within 1 year

    Required Certification: 

  • BLS certification required

    Preferred Experience:

  • One to two years' experience in vascular studies preferred
