Wood County Hospital Urgent Care RN/LPN/MA - Falcon Health Center in Bowling Green, Ohio

Falcon Health Center, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is now accepting applications for an Urgent Care RN/LPN/MA. The Urgent Care RN/LPN/MA will assist providers with patient assessment, examinations and treatments. The nurse collects and labels specimens when doing specimen collections and is also responsible for giving routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider, as appropriate with level of training and/or certification.

Job Duties:

  • Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.

  • Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.

  • Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.

  • Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.

  • Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.

  • Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc.) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.

Hours: Varies

Shift: 8am-8pm

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Education:            

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Registered or Practical nursing program(s).

Minimum Certification:        

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certification

  • Current RN or LPN in the State of Ohio

Preferred Experience:          

  • Prior experience preferred
