Wood County Hospital Senior Housekeeper in Bowling Green, Ohio

Wood County Hospital is accepting applications for a full-time Senior Housekeeper. The Senior Housekeeper provides personal care and professional excellence by maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Assists supervision in various tasks in order to maintain progress of the department.   

Job Duties:

  • Assists supervisors and manager with personnel training, evaluation of quality and quantity of work and monitors daily productivity of staff. 

  • Performs thorough monthly cleaning and semi-annual cleanings on schedule. 

  • Safely makes detergents and germicidal solutions from chemicals. 

  • Properly cleans restrooms and replenishes essentials.

  • Dusts vents, cabinets, horizontal surfaces and counters.

  • Properly completes discharge unit cleaning.

  • Thoroughly vacuums and extracts furniture and carpets as needed.

  • Properly dust mops and wet mops floors with cleaning solutions. Safely operates electric floor machines and vacuums. Properly scrubs, strips and refinishes floors with machine.

Shift Details:

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift: Nights 

Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Minimum Requirements:

Preferred Experience:

  • Healthcare experience preferred.
