Wood County Hospital Dietary Aide in Bowling Green, Ohio

Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Dietary Aide position. The Dietary Aide performs basic food preparation and clean up.

Job Duties:

  • Obtains proper ingredients from storeroom and refrigerator.

  • Thoroughly washes and cleans fruits and vegetables and peels, dices, shreds, or slices them using kitchen hand utensils.

  • Prepares serving of desserts and appetizers by preparing fruit cups, cutting pies into individual portions, and placing other desserts on individual dishes.

  • Properly washes and cleans bowls, pans and utensils used.

  • Assists in other areas of the kitchen when needed such as participating in the patient tray assembly, dishwashing, work cafeteria line, and assist cooks

Shift Details:

Hours: Per diem

Shift: Variable

Weekend Rotation Required

Preferred Experience:

  • Healthcare food service experience preferred.

  • Institutional food experience preferred.
