Physical Therapist Assistant

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. We offer services to adult and geriatric clients throughout Pike, Lincoln, Ralls and Audrain counties. The Physical therapist provides direct patient care activities to home health patients according to physician orders in the home environment including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation and instruction/supervision of physical therapy practice. Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies. Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed. Completes documentation in accordance with agency policies. Provides reassessment and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Service. Qualification Requirements:

  • Current PTA license in Missouri
  • Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
