About the Role


The IT Systems Support Analyst is responsible for support of End-User Computing (EUC) Endpoints including Desktop, laptop, mobile device and assisting Sr. Engineers with virtual environment when requested. This role Works alongside Systems Engineers-following technical direction from Sr. Systems staff in terms of next steps on projects and operational support. Collaborates cross-functionally with Network Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to help support projects and provide operational support for network and infrastructure systems as needed. Monitor and maintain support helpdesk and provide end user support in a timely fashion. Monitors and maintains new user creation and deployment of related hardware.

What You Will Do

  • Works cross-functionally with other Systems staff, MFG, MNT, and QA staff to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost for our production
  • Provides 1st level support and technical direction to Systems Maintenance staff for MFG endpoint device issues
  • Performs a variety of skilled work in the adjustment, repair, and improvement of IT Systems
  • Communicates status of current helpdesk support tasks with estimated completion times
  • Supports system updates, changes, and improvement activities
  • Demonstrates data driven problem solving methodology
  • Laptop/PC build using Manage Engine Endpoint Central
  • Initial Active Directory Account creation (using provided scripts), adding user to appropriate Active Directory groups, troubleshooting Group Policy updates for users.
  • Initial help for getting users logged on, setting up Outlook, Teams, etc. confirming access to shared folders, printers, etc.
  • Troubleshooting laptop and desktop deployments with hardware and software issues, account password resets, General Office 365 issue resolution
  • Updating, capturing, and deploying images with manage engine
  • Monitor and address helpdesk tickets, staying within defined SLA, while communicating to the end user.


What You Need


  • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Systems or related Computer Engineering program preferred. Will consider equivalent related college or technical courses.
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications and knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 experience helpful.
  • Prior experience in an IT Desktop Support or Sys Admin role in a similar function preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to troubleshoot, modify, and support EUC environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, modify, and assist System Engineers with a virtual environment that supports EUC devices.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have good understanding of root cause analysis (RCA), and problem-solving techniques for issue resolution.
  • Familiar with Office 365 applications and Administration, and knowledge of Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation.
  • Works well in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to apply technical problem-solving skills to solve real-world problems.
