Parsons is looking for a talented Administrative Assistant to join our growing TLOSS team!

The purpose of the United States Space Force (USSF) Tools, Applications, Processing (TAP) Lab is to develop prototype software and algorithms capable of exploiting live and recorded OPIR as well as weather data streams.

This position is Monday - Friday from 0700-1500 in person at our Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF). Work Location: The BGIF is located at 6304 Spine Road, Boulder CO 80301.

Position Overview:

The TAP Lab Administrative support will provide support to the Site and/or Facility Managers and Government Leads where applicable with operational activities in events, access, and visits/tours within the TAP Lab and administrative support to the overall TAP Lab/TLOSS organization. They will also aid with maintenance and operations, occupancy services, and front desk manning.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in general event management and administrative logistics. This role requires an enthusiastic, proactive individual, an outstanding communicator with the ability to deliver incredible: customer service, organization, collaboration, leadership, and team development.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Front desk presence at TAP LAB – Greet and proactively develop and manage vendor and Customer relationships ensuring expected service levels are achieved or exceeded

  • Foster an environment of constant, quality communication between the team and the vendors

  • General Site Security support (i.e. VAR coordination/verification with Site Security Representative team and visitor Facility Security Officers, verifying visitor clearances and administering security badges)

  • Event coordination support (i.e. Support the full life cycle of events from inception, client collaboration and scheduling to implementation for experiences ranging from meetings to large-scale demonstrations and symposiums, manage an events program and calendar for as many as 10 events per week in meeting and event spaces across Lab spaces)

  • General Government team and TLOSS team support (e.g. “go to” person for asking questions and they can point us to the correct personnel within the organization, daily calendar deconfliction/debrief)

  • Personnel “Care and Feeding” (i.e. Get well/Sympathy/Congrats cards, farewell party coordination, farewell plaque creation, happy hour coordination)

  • General support of facility (i.e. forms, coffee/snacks in break rooms, Facility requests for vacuums/janitorial services with various departments, ordering supplies, etc)

  • Onboarding support (employee and vendor) for forms and day-of arrival coordination

  • Calendar, distribution listing, and communications support

  • Org chart and directory management

What Required Skills You’ll Bring :

  • Must be willing and able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a Secret security clearance.

  • Completed Associates degree

  • 4+ years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including multitasking skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools

  • Understanding of Project Management processes

Salary Range:

$21.44 - $37.55
