Description Are you a detail-oriented individual hoping to join the ranks of a successful Education - University company as an Accounts Payable Clerk? If you're looking to take your career to the next level, we might have a job for you. Can you match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks? A dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Boulder, Colorado area.

Your responsibilities

  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

  • Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

  • Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

  • Perform special projects as assigned

  • Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

  • Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

  • Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

  • Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

  • Perform full-cycle A/P Requirements - Purchase Orders experience preferred

  • Account reconciliation experience

  • Deep understanding of Check Runs

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

  • Command of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

  • Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
