Test Technician (Electronics/Optics) Location:Bothell, WA (98021) Job ID: #69235 Pay Range: $25 - $35 Shift: 4days/10hrs Focus in: Electronics' or Optics Experience: Electronics/Optics Testing 1-2+yrs, Cable Harnessing 1+yrs, Soldering On-Site work Only US Citizenship required THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. SUMMARY * Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. * Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. * Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. *Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. * Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. Required Experience/Skills: * Experience in CableWire HarnessBuild & Routing. * Mechanical assembly history and familiarity building and testing electrical systems and circuit boards. * Educational background and/or experience in electronics or optics. *Experience running, testing, and measuring lasers or complex optical systems. * Exceptional Lab skills: ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics * Experience in handling fiber, fiber splicing equipment including fiber polishing equipment. * Experience in Testing analog, power electronics, (RF) Radio Frequency, and digital circuits. * IPC 610 Solder Certification Preferred , some Soldering needed OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED * Pass Drug test & background check * Needed 1-2yrs experience - Testing and Development *Needed 1-2yrs experience - Electronic Testing * Needed 1-2yrs experience - Cable Harness Building & Routing * Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-A-610 * Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-J-STD * Preferred Certification current or expired IPC-WHMA-A-620 Benefits provided: 401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
