Senior-Software Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Bothell, WA to lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor junior software engineers. Work with other Lead engineers, engineers, architects, Product managers, and business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems based on priority. Write quality code for automated testing and validation. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, automation, configuration management, and compliance. Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support. Implement, maintain and update CICD pipelines. Apply experience in application delivery; building Java-based high-volume/high-transaction applications. Build web applications using Java, Spring, and REST. Apply experience in experience in architecture and design of systems using Microservices architecture. Coach and mentor junior engineers. Utilize Junit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI and Postman. Apply knowledge in Unix/Linux command line. Work with asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event driven computing. Work within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development team. Apply knowledge with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3. Utilize Java/Groovy, REST services, Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Redis/Memcached, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electronic Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying experience in application delivery; building Java-based highvolume/ high-transaction applications; building web applications using Java, Spring, and REST; applying experience in experience in architecture and design of systems using Microservices architecture; coaching and mentoring junior engineers; utilizing Junit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI and Postman; applying knowledge in Unix/Linux command line; working with asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event driven computing; working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development team; apply knowledge with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3; and utilizing Java/Groovy, REST services, Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Redis/Memcached, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
