Confidential Production Groomer in Bothell, Washington

Seeking production groomer in a fun, respectful work environment!! We have been in business for 45+ years, and are located on a busy highway with visibility from said highway. We provide all advertisements, and groomers will have access to our book of business with over 10,000 clients.

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • 1-5 years grooming experience
    • MUST HAVE:
      • An understanding of standard breed cuts and ability to communicate with pet owners on specific preferences
      • Ability to identify skin or coat irregularities and report back to owner
        • Capacity to explain proper care techniques to clients when needed
      • Confidence to ask for assistance or guidance when required
      • Compassion towards pets
        • Attentiveness to the comfortability of fur friends and ability to modify schedules to prioritize maximum comfort
      • Be able to lift pets up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
      • Reliable transportation and punctuality
    • SCHEDULING:
      • Grooming days are closed weekends & holidays listed on website
      • Scheduling provided through reception

Wage:

  • 50% Commission + Tips

Schedule:

  • Full-time/Part-time positions available
    • Monday through Friday, morning shifts
    • Must arrive at 7 am the day after holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Arrive to grooming salon 30 minutes prior to first scheduled appointment
  • Greet each owner and examine coat & skin conditions during check-in
  • Communicate with cashier about pricing history prior to client arrival
  • Keep a cleanly work environment
  • Provide own scissors and tools required to perform a full groom

    • We provide:
      • Shampoos, ear cleaners, finger toothbrushes & gel, high validity dryers, drying cages, towels and cute bows
    • Groomer is responsible for sharpening own tools
