Maloney Properties, Inc. Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Boston, United States

We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support a residential property in the South End/Lower Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, MA. You will be hands-on supervising a team of maintenance professionals along with the Maintenance Superintendent and Regional Director of Maintenance. The duties you will be responsible for will include:

· Overseeing and participating in completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance.

· Keeping the Property Manager and Maintenance Director up-to-date on the properties and any work that needs to be done.

· Preparing buildings for inspections with our technicians.

· Updating records and reports related to maintenance.

The work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30 with on-call duties shared on rotation.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

· Knowledge of general apartment repair and previous experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work is required.

· Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is preferred.

· The successful candidate will be bilingual (Spanish/English).

· A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
