<p><strong>Senior Technical Analyst, Supplier Advertising&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><em>Candidates for this position are preferred to be based in Boston, MA and will be expected to comply with their team's hybrid work schedule requirements.</em></p>

<p><strong>Who We Are:</strong></p>

<p>The Supplier Advertising team at Wayfair provides solutions for Wayfair’s 10,000+ suppliers to advertise their brands and products.&nbsp; These offerings include on-site solutions such as sponsored product listings and display ads, as well as off-site offerings such as email placements and Meta targeting.&nbsp; We work on both improving our products to maximize their inherent value, as well as advising suppliers on how best to leverage them to grow their businesses on Wayfair.&nbsp; Not only are we generating millions in extra revenue for suppliers and solidifying Wayfair as a preferred partner, but we’ve built a significant business that’s one of the highest growth areas in the company.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to join the Commercial Analytics team that sits within the overall Supplier Advertising team.&nbsp; The Commercial Analytics team performs a wide array of functions, including but not limited to building backend data structures that power our reporting, tracking and analyzing how suppliers interact with our self-service platform, defining and monitoring overall business performance and KPIs, and building recommendation engines for our suppliers.&nbsp; Our work is technically challenging, high-impact, and heavily relied upon for strategic decision-making. This role provides significant exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to work with a variety of cross-functional partners across Commercial and Technology organizations.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Build and maintain our team’s backend data structures in GBQ and Looker, ensuring they are set up to drive impactful downstream reporting for both Wayfair stakeholders and suppliers</li>

<li>Build tracking for our supplier self-service portals to understand how suppliers interact with these platforms, ultimately helping us understand where we need to improve</li>

<li>Develop, distribute, and maintain scalable self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental goals, allowing cross-functional partners to access data and identify meaningful insights</li>

<li>Develop data sets and KPIs that allow us to track progress and effectively respond when we do not see the results we expect</li>

<li>Conduct rigorous analyses and generate data-driven, strategic insights that lead to step-change business improvements.</li>

<li>Serve as a thought partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define / execute tracking plans for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with data</li>

<li>Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional executive leaders across the organization.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>We Are a Match Because You Have:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelors in computer science, engineering, math, statistics, economics, or other quantitative discipline</li>

<li><strong>2+ years of experience post graduation/internship/co-op </strong>work experience in a relevant field such as business analytics, data management or engineering, quantitative analytics, testing, predictive modeling, etc</li>

<li>Proficient knowledge of SQL / Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel / Google Sheets</li>

<li>Familiarity with visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar</li>

<li>Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated experience leveraging data from a multitude of sources to solve complex problems, tell a story, and impact overarching strategy</li>

<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once</li>

<li>Strong business acumen with the ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective</li>

<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience</li>

<li>Knowledge of Python, Git, and LookML is preferred, but not required</li>
