Realtime Robotics, Inc. Senior Robotic Software Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Develop software that communicates with industrial robots over a variety of protocols. Work with robot manufacturers to troubleshoot issues with robot performance and stability. Support field engineers to solve customer’s automation challenges using the company technology. Read and analyze technical documentation from vendors to design and test software interfaces. Debug network issues. Design software to adhere to different protocols using such tools as git, jira and valgrind, as well as the experience programming in a linux environment and utilizing the knowledge of control theory. Integrate new robots into software stack. Design and implement algorithms for improving motion stability and control of robot hardware. Design and implement software for real-time control.Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
