Core Responsibilities

In connection to the business strategy and in anticipation of both short term and long-term business needs, you will drive initiatives, in partnership with business leaders and as an active member of business leadership teams, related to capability building, talent management and employee engagement.

Furthermore, you will be expected to:

  • Drive impact at scale through contributions to and execution of the LEGO Education people and culture strategy for LEGO Education.

  • Be accountable for design and implementation of end-to-end people agenda in designated business areas in connection to the overall people, culture, and business strategies.

  • Be a coach, sparring partner and strategic advisor for leaders and leadership teams, focusing on driving performance, impact, personal effectiveness, and team cohesion.

  • Contribute to and/or own global LE people initiatives impacting the whole organization across multiple countries and cultures.

  • Form relationships with LEGO Group HR Communities of Excellence (CoE) to understand application and fit of upcoming and ongoing initiatives to LE and collaborate on customized or modified solutions to ensure integrity of CoE initiatives.

  • Secure strong deployment and impact of annual people processes including performance dialogues, merit, people PULSE, and ongoing learning and development paths.

As a member of a small people team, sharing best practice, ideas and continuously striving to innovate and create impact to evolve the teams’ capabilities is important.

The salary for this position has a range of $120,000 - $180,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The definitive compensation may vary in alignment with the selected candidate’s professional background, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

Being a role model for The LEGO Brand Framework, Leadership Playground, and LE culture and capabilities, you will also safeguard governance and hygiene factors within areas you support, including organizational design principles, data accuracy, FTR baseline, and people costs in partnership with Finance Business Partners and Analysts.

LEGO Education (LE) have an ambitious vision for growth and the next 1-3 years represent a crucial phase in setting a solid foundation for growth in mainstream classrooms, while building and maintaining momentum around key results, that will ultimately establish LE as an Educational Technology company.

LE HR drives the people & culture strategy and execution ultimately enabling the success of our people and the business. The team consists of a Business Partnering function reporting directly into the LE organization.

This role will provide HR Business Partnership to the Product Experience and International Sales areas of the business and supply global initiatives to be applied to the entire LE organization with particular emphasis on capability building and cultural transformation.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Eight years of proven experience in HR roles including at least five years in a Business Partner role, ideally with an international, tech or education based, commercially driven organization.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and creating impact in Sales and/or Marketing business areas is highly preferred.

  • Participate in developing and executing elements of the global people strategy for LEGO Education and own the strategic plan and execution for the U.S. Sales and Global Marketing teams.

  • Well-practiced and confident in coaching, providing feedback to, guiding, and challenging senior level leaders.

  • Have been successful in guiding a team of business leaders through forming to performing.

  • Experience successfully collaborating across a matrix organization ie. Applying expertise of others to elevate your own results and lending your expertise to others.

  • Experience in successfully identifying and using data & insights to build a case for an initiative or actions that impact business performance.

  • Must have experience operating independently including identification of short to medium-term business needs and execution of corresponding actions.

  • Knows what good looks like when it comes to capability building.

  • Experience designing and delivering workshops or programs to support team development is a bonus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications specifically Teams, Power Point, and Excel.

New Location Update

This position will initially be based at our LEGO Education office at Boylston St, Back Bay, Boston before moving to a new central Boston office location by the end of 2026. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
