H&H Senior Civil Roadway Engineer / Team Leader in Boston, Massachusetts

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Roadway Engineer/Team Leader in our Boston, MA, office.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Roadway/Transportation-related designs required for new or rehabilitation roadway projects

  • Attend client project meetings

  • Participate in proposals/presentations

  • Manage project tasks and meet with regulatory agencies

  • Manage, train and mentor less experienced engineers in the production of plans, specifications, and estimates

  • Project engineering responsibilities related to project communication, schedule, budget, and progress on various concurrent tasks

  • Assist in local marketing efforts including proposal preparation, attendance at professional chapter meetings, and municipal functions and meetings

  • Establish a Highway/Roadway Design presence in the Boston office and contribute to the growth and capabilities of the office

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering; PE License

  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of related experience

  • PE in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one within one year)

  • Excellent communications skills and the demonstrated ability to work well in cooperative, team environments

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills

  • Prior experience with MassDOT and municipalities (preferred)
