Position Road Mechanic

Description

• Correctly diagnose and repair equipment issues

• Complete machine repair reports and document all needed information

• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of Heavy Construction Equipment preferred

• Work alone with a limited amount of supervision

• Maximize the efficient use of service and repair processes to provide fast accurate repairs and minimize unnecessary expense

• Efficiently utilize tooling and technical resources

• Represent the company in a positive, professional manner

•Communicate options to correct current problems

Class 8 and Heavy Equipment experience Preferred.

Position Requirements

• Must be computer proficient to be able to run diagnostic software and track repairs

• Willing to work after hours and weekends when needed.

• Ability to comprehend and search for information in service and parts manuals.

• Able to climb in, on, and around equipment, be flexible for awkward reaches and positions.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects with weights of up to 75 lbs.

• Must be have your own tools

• Must have a clean driving record.
