Boston University RESEARCH ASSISTANT, School of Dental Medicine, Global and Population Health in BOSTON, Massachusetts

The position will work on an NIH-funded clinical trial that aims to test two complementary interventions, rapid HIV testing in community health center dental clinics and interactive text messaging to reduce HIV risk. The position will involve recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants, conducting the clinic-based intervention with participants, data tracking and management, preparation of reports, liasioning with technology partners, and general office tasks. The position may also help coordinate research team and stakeholder meetings. The position is also responsible for supporting the the day-to-day operations of the Office of Global and Population Health. This position will include preparing grant applications and reports for research related purposes, and compiling information for the Annual Report. The position will oversee the proper implementation of the GSDM visitor policy by reviewing all visitor requests, updating the visitor portal, and working closely with the Associate Dean of Global and Population Health and other departments to ensure compliance of all visitors to the dental school. In addition, the Research Assistant is responsible for data entry, paperwork, and the maintenance of databases for multiple international research projects.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree required and 1-3 years work experience.
