  • Managing an active workload of open requisitions, filling primarily nonexempt and exempt positions. Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending appropriate candidates to managers.

  • Attending onsite townhall/department meetings and presenting to hiring managers.

  • Reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Refering candidates who closely meet requirements, managing conflict between candidate level and budget constraints.

  • Developing strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.

  • Developing and managing a talent pipeline to ensure qualified candidates when needed.

  • Providing objective assessments of candidates to managers and effectively manage candidate flow. Coaching managers in effective screening, interviewing and selection techniques as necessary.

  • Coaching Hiring Managers on the interview and selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates and compliance with diversity commitments and regulatory requirements.

  • Corresponding with candidates, providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the hospital and the position.

  • Staying informed of regulatory changes, trends, and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in with best practices.

  • Effectively manage workflow utilizing best practice recruiting methodology within the parameters of OFCCP/EEO, Affirmative Action plan, and other legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Appropriately disposition candidates and assures manager understanding of hospital commitment to diversity and fairness.

  • Managing job posting activities, including internal posting practices, electronic job board traffic and agency referral activity. Maintaining accurate records and consistently update applicant tracking system.

  • Extending offers of employment to selected candidates with the appropriate approval of the hiring manager and compensation team. Negotiating offers with assistance as needed.

  • Networking and participating in appropriate external events to enhance marketplace knowledge and visibility.

    In order to qualify you must have:

  • 2 years of recruiting experience, additional years of experience may substitute for degree.

  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing with emphasis on negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Skilled at utilizing proactive and creative sourcing techniques to identify both active and passive candidates for current openings, and establishing a pipeline for future needs.

  • Skilled at utilizing several interviewing techniques, including behavioral interviewing, skills based interviewing, role playing, etc.

  • Knowledge of OFCCP compliance and employment-related legislation including Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action.

  • MS office software skills including, Word, Excel.

  • Ability to efficiently and accurately manage data and information

  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with candidates, internal HR consultants, line managers and external agencies.

  • Understanding of the role of diversity in building a strong, adaptable and highly functioning workforce.
