Oracle Services - Cloud SCM Demand/Supply Chain Planning – Manager

The Oracle Services practice assists our national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering, and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle applications and technology space. This group advises clients within Healthcare & Life Sciences; Energy; Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility; Private Equity; Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Technology; Consumer Products & Retail; Government & Public Sector; and Financial Services sectors. Our team looks to understand, architect, and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Our focus is on helping our clients to achieve the following key benefits:

The opportunity

Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients' team and we'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry.

Your key responsibilities

This position will support Oracle Services Supply Chain/Asset Management sub-practice as a member of project teams working with our clients and guiding them through agreed upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training, and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. They will also provide advisory services as part of assessments and support services either as post implementation support or manage service agreements.  Specifically, you will configure the Oracle Cloud Planning Module and guide the client to ensure they manage, balance, and analyze all demand and supply in their supply chain. Must be familiar with using advanced analytical, statistical, and optimization techniques.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Team with client business and technology professionals, and/or third party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions

  • Demonstrate ability to implement software.

  • Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally

  • Interact and communicate effectively with finance and technology senior and middle management executives as well as end user and business subject matter experts.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience

  • 5-10 years of experience working with an ERP system in a functional implementation role

  • Proven track record in system implementation of the following cloud applications

  • Oracle Cloud Demand Management

  • Oracle Cloud Sales & Operations

  • Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Collaboration

  • Familiarity of one or more of the following Oracle Supply Chain Functions/Applications: Inventory, Bills of Material, Work in Progress, Shop Floor Manager, or Warehouse Management

  • Ability to:

  • Develop an understanding of a client's current state process and developing future state recommendations

  • Recommend road maps to close performance gaps and developing high level implementation plans

  • Gather and analyze business requirements

  • Align business requirements and best practices to implement a technical solution

  • Define new and refine existing business processes

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and development of EY processes

  • 3-5 full lifecycle implementations in any of the above

  • Familiarity of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills

  • Ability and confidence in researching client inquiries and emerging issues

  • Successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel up to 60%

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Supply & Demand Planning and Scheduling Experience

  • Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Certifications: Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) and/or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

  • Bachelors or advanced Degree in Business or Industrial Engineering

  • Cloud Certifications in Cloud Applications or Oracle Certifications

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,100 to $267,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
