With offices in Caguas, PR, Boston, MA & San Francisco, CA and we serve life sciences clients in six global markets: United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Canada, and South America.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the installation, operation, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of biological safety cabinets and incubators.

  • Responsibilities: Install, maintain, operate, clean and repair biological safety cabinets and incubators in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

  • Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure proper operation and functionality of equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and provide timely and effective repairs.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities and provide regular reports to management.

  • Collaborate with research staff to ensure that equipment is being used safely and effectively.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices for biological safety cabinets and incubators.

  • Provide training and support to research staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science 6-10 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, with a focus on biological safety cabinets and incubators.

  • Strong knowledge of biological safety cabinet and incubator design, installation, and maintenance.

  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with research staff.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for biological safety cabinets and incubators.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of physical environments.
