Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Firmware Engineer to work with the sensor team to develop and test sensor and computer systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with extensive experience in embedded Linux development. The candidate must have a strong desire to up-skill and self-develop. They must have the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware, such as bootloader, Linux kernel, and device drivers.

• Bring up Linux and drivers on new hardware.

• Update and maintain the Linux build system.

• Develop test plans and procedures based on functional requirements and industry standards.

• Design automated test suites for sensors and embedded systems.

• Perform functional tests for sensors and embedded systems.

Supporting other teams for how to task the cameras, and integrate the software API.

Hard Skills

  • Board bring-up for camera driver development

  • Using NVIDIA as an edge computer device
