The Director of Master's Recruitment & Admission is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment and admissions strategies to attract top-tier candidates to our engineering Master's programs, including the Late Entry Accelerated Program (LEAP). Specifically, the Director will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process spanning marketing, lead generation, engagement, financial awards, and conversion. The Director will engage ENG departments and Divisions to facilitate participation in the marketing, recruiting, admissions, and onboarding processes to realize annual admissions and matriculation goals. The Director will work closely with the Director of Graduate Programs in maintaining common services for admissions, enrollment services, financial aid, and student support services and oversees and manages the work of the Assistant Director, Admissions & LEAP. Lastly, the Director will investigate future masters market opportunities and the associated resources required.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategies aligned with the college's goals and objectives.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, and opportunities.

Recruitment:

  • Create compelling promotional materials and digital content targeting prospective graduate students.

  • Develop and deliver compelling virtual and on-campus events to drive applications and enrollments.

  • Represent the college at industry conferences, career fairs, and other relevant events to promote our Master's programs.

  • Cultivate relationships with undergraduate institutions, industry partners, and professional organizations to expand our recruitment network.

  • Allocate scholarship budget to maximize enrollments.

Admissions Process Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for applicants.

  • Develop and maintain admissions policies and procedures in compliance with university guidelines and accreditation standards.

  • Provide guidance and support to applicants throughout the admissions process.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data related to recruitment and admissions activities to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for college leadership, highlighting key performance metrics and actionable insights.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team, including the Assistant Director of Admissions & LEAP and the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
