Job Description Summary:

We are a global leader in enterprise software solutions, serving CTOs, CISOs, CIOs, and other senior leaders across EMEA, AMER, and APAC. We’re on a mission to accelerate growth and drive demand generation through innovative marketing strategies that fuel our sales pipeline. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Demand Generation to lead our global strategy and help us scale to new heights.

The Director, Demand Generation (Global) is responsible for developing and leading the global demand generation strategy to drive pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and revenue. This role will lead a centralized demand gen team, collaborating closely with regional marketing teams (EMEA, AMER, APAC) to ensure a scalable, cohesive, and data-driven approach to demand generation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of global markets, with a focus on integrated campaigns that fuel demand and pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Leadership:

  • Own the global demand generation strategy, setting goals and KPIs to drive revenue growth and pipeline acceleration across all regions.

  • Develop high-impact, data-driven demand generation campaigns that resonate with our target audience (CTOs, CISOs, CIOs) across different verticals and regions.

  • Partner closely with GEO-based marketing and sales teams to ensure regional alignment and market relevance.

  • Collaborate with the content, product marketing, and field marketing teams to create compelling messaging and offers that drive customer engagement and conversions.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a centralized demand generation team, including global campaign managers and marketing operations specialists.

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of campaign planning, execution, and optimization.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.​

Collaboration with Regional Teams:

  • Serve as the key point of contact between the central demand gen team and regional marketing leads (EMEA, AMER, APAC).

  • Align global strategies with regional priorities, ensuring campaigns are localized and relevant to each market’s unique needs.

  • Support regional field marketing teams in executing successful demand gen initiatives tailored to local buyer personas and market conditions.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:

  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated multi-channel campaigns, including email, web, paid media, webinars, ABM, events, and content syndication.

  • Ensure campaigns are designed to engage prospects throughout the buyer’s journey, from awareness to conversion.

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize continuously for maximum ROI, utilizing marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) and data-driven insights.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Lead data-driven decision-making, tracking key metrics such as MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on marketing investment (ROMI).

  • Collaborate with the marketing operations and data analytics team to ensure robust data analytics and reporting mechanisms are in place.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on the impact of demand generation efforts.

Budget Management:

  • Own the global demand generation budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize campaign efficiency and impact.

  • Track and report on budget performance, adjusting investments as necessary to drive pipeline growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing, preferably in an enterprise software company; including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of driving significant pipeline growth and revenue, through multi-channel demand gen campaigns in a B2B environment; Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.

  • Experience working for a global company, with an understanding of regional marketing needs and cultural nuances (EMEA, AMER, APAC).

  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, etc.), CRM systems (Salesforce), and analytics tools.

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with sales teams and aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a globally distributed team.

  • Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leadership; experience marketing to technical and C-level audiences (CTO, CIO, CISO) is ideal.

The base salary range for this role is $144,000.00 - $180,000.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
