CT Scan Technologist, Per Diem

Job Description:

  • Performs all CT scans including image-guided procedures in a manner that ensures studies produced are of appropriate technical quality and are produced in a timely manner consistent with departmental goals and objectives.

  • Utilizes the ALARA principle.

  • Ensures high quality delivery of appropriate general patient care.

  • Call and holiday shift rotation required per department requirements.

  • Two shifts required per month

  • Maintain competencies required for specific patient population served and adheres to NEBH protocols with regard to procedures and workflow

  • Provide effective communication with other segments of the hospital necessary for patient care and workflow.

  • Possess excellent customer service skills

  • 1 year of experience preferred

Education/Certification:

  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology

  • Valid ARRT registration, MA license

  • AHA Heartsaver or BLS certified
