Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Analyst to join our commodity source teams as part of our Supply Chain organization. This Sr. Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team’s responsibility includes procuring indirect materials in support of GDIT and direct procurement in support of our government customers.

HOW A SENIOR PROCUREMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manage and complete the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.

  • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.

  • Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution

  • Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.

  • Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.

  • Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience or 9+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree

  • 3+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement

  • MUST have direct acquisition experience procuring in accordance with FAR.

  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers.

  • Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.

  • Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.

  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process

  • Must be able to go into Falls Church, VA or Bossier City, LA one day a week

  • Must be a US Person

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience procuring Software, Cloud/Saas, or other related commodities

  • Experience running RFP’s for direct procurements and/or strategic negotiations

The likely salary range for this position is $70,550 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
