Specifically, for the Materials & Structural Analysis Division in Bordeaux, France, we focus on building software applications intended to support the research and development for Life Sciences, Materials Science or Semiconductor customers worldwide.

How will you make an impact?

Joining the team, you will work closely with microscopists and researchers in laboratories and industrial companies.

You will contribute to build software directly linked to microscope, to drive the acquisition/pre-treatment process of scientific data.

You are passionate about software design, dedicated to quality, release process and teamwork, and pragmatic about problem solving, we'd love to hear from you!

What will you do?

You will integrate a Scrum team.

Be the quality leader for the team. Support the team in carrying out test activities.

Work with the team, including Product Owners, to ensure that software requirements are understood and testable.

Ensure that test strategy is adequate and evolves with new features and ISO 9001 process.

Guide to automate testing (Unitary, functional, non-regression, performances…) and help to define/update Ci/Cd.

Lead the software release and work closely with partners.

Collaborate with others Software Quality Engineers of the team and the company, to review and recommend on software testing processes and frameworks.

Follow/update metrics on continuous improvements.

How will you get here?

Experience

6 years+ Work experience with major aspects of the software development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, and test).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Able to actively participate in meetings in English.

Experience developing test cases – both functional and technical.

Appetence for functional and user point of view.

Defect identification, and root cause analysis.

Have good understanding of Agile Methodology

Experience with followings would be appreciated: Jira, TestRail, automation tools (Cypress, karma), languages (Python, TypeScript).

Knowledge of QA standard methodologies such as behavior/test-driven development.
