Prepares and cooks large quantities of food for a busy restaurant from a full menu Checks with line supervisor for 911 out items, take physical inventory and make a prioritized prep list daily of all needed items, using seasonal par list. Will work with Executive Chef to develop seasonal soup menus. Will also maintain a calendar of all soups produced each month. Uses approved recipes, follows all portion control guidelines, and insures that all prep is being completed in a timely manner. Insures all food is stored per company procedure, following safety measures. Adheres to the clean as you go process. Demonstrates high standards in food safety and sanitation. Maintains clean and organized stations at all times. Demonstrates a positive team attitude working well with all team members to produce the highest standards of food and service for all Guests. Must be at least age 18 due to labor laws. One year experience required. Must adhere to mandatory grooming standards due to working in kitchen and around food. Employer policy includes no visible body art or jewelry. Drug testing required & random drug tests given. Employer will provide uniform and meals. Wage is \$14.00 per hour, or more depending on experience.
