*[GENERAL FUNCTION: *[This is a Part-time position [Esthetics Instructors must be able to teach assigned skin care technology classes, both lecture and demonstration, in accordance with NC State Board of Cosmetology standards. They will also teach skin care sciences, basic and rejuvenation facial, microdermabrasion, make-up and waxing as well in preparing the students for their final State Board Exam for esthetics. They are required to provide continuous evaluation on an ongoing basis to students. It is crucial that the instructor make sure safe and sanitary practices are followed for students and instructors

  • Must be able to teach to all levels of students abilities and adjusts subject matter as required
  • Must project a professional image at all times to internal and external guests

  • Be firm in implementing the policies and procedures in place for the school

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Must be a licensed Cosmetologist in the State of North Carolina or a licensed Esthetician
  • At least two year's experience in cosmetology or esthetics
  • Instruction and communication skills
  • Great ability to track students and keep them engaged
  • Must be aware of the institutional passing rate of first -time test takers on licensure and certification exams
