Aerotek Warehouse Associate in Bolingbrook, Illinois

Warehouse Associate | Bolingbrook, IL

1st & 2nd Shift Available | $18+/hr

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling shipping and receiving tasks in the warehouse department. This is a comprehensive role that includes picking, packing, paperwork, and operating sit-down forklifts. The position starts with training on a 7 AM to 3:30 PM schedule and then transitions to a long-term 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks

  • Pick and pack items efficiently

  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately

  • Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks

  • Manage warehouse inventory using RF scanners

  • Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, organizing, and building pallets/crates

Skills

  • Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts

  • Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes

  • Familiarity with packing and inventory management

  • Competence using RF scanners

  • Experience in a production environment (not a distribution center or third-party logistics company)

  • Willingness to perform general labor tasks

Work Environment

Our work environment is very clean, organized, and spacious. The manufacturing floor is quiet and well-lit. The team currently consists of about 15 people, with plans to grow to around 25 by the end of the year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
