Do you have deep experience with federal and state government contracting and federal acquisition regulations or served as a government contracting officer? Due to our exciting new expansions in Boise, NY, and Manassas, we are expanding our compliance function to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and grant requirements associated with the procurement function in both the construction and operational phases of the expansions.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager for US Expansion Procurement Compliance at Micron Technology. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Micron procurement policies and procedures, Chips program requirements, and any federal or state regulations applicable to procurement activity associated with the US expansion sites. The successful candidate will establish and implement a comprehensive compliance framework for procurement covering all activities at the expansion sites including monitoring, detection, and controls as needed. You will train team members on requirements, provide oversight and monitoring, consult on key decisions regarding compliance, and perform assurance activities including regular audits of procurement activities and the associated actions and resulting data to verify compliance.

  • Develop and maintain a register of all applicable grant requirements as well as state and federal regulations associated with expansion project procurement activity.

  • Develop a comprehensive framework of controls, monitoring, and detection to ensure compliance with all identified requirements.

  • Ensure procurement compliance with Micron's and RBA (Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct.

  • Determine data/documentation requirements needed to meet the CHIP program and associated regulatory requirements and ensure data is in an auditable format.

  • Partner with existing audit groups to ensure full coverage of activities.

  • Partner with the Global Procurement Center of Excellence to implement system upgrades and controls identified specific to US expansion compliance requirements.

  • Publish monthly updates on performance metrics regarding compliance with requirements.

  • Develop training content for procurement personnel regarding CHIPS compliance as well as all other applicable regulations and policies.

  • Act as point of contact and facilitator for any audits (internal or external) regarding procurement activities associated with US expansions.

  • Apply deep working knowledge of all relevant policies and regulations and government contracting requirements to maintain compliance with ongoing procurement operations.

Qualifications & Skills: Not added

  • 5 years of procurement compliance experience or as a government contracting officer

  • 10 years of overall procurement experience including government contracting

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain/procurement or engineering

  • Strong negotiation skills, cross-team collaboration, proficiency in written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Desired skills but not required

  • Master’s degree in supply chain/procurement or engineering

  • Professional Procurement Certification (CPSM/ISM, CSCP/APICS, etc.)

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$123,500.00 - $223,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
