We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electroplating Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with copper pillars, binary and ternary metallurgies, and gold plating processes. This role involves researching, developing and overseeing plating operations, ensuring high-quality standards, and optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Management: Oversee and manage plating processes, including copper, tin-silver, and gold plating.

  • Quality Control: Develop effective process control methods to ensure all plating processes meet stringent quality standards and specifications.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in the plating process to minimize downtime and defects.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve plating processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.

  • Equipment Operations: Ensure all plating equipment is properly qualified and calibrated.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plating processes, quality checks, and maintenance activities.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to ensure seamless operations.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate and drive continuous improvement projects with both equipment vendors and chemical supplier.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of [5] years of industry experience in plating processes, specifically copper pillars, binary and ternary metallurgies.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in plating techniques, process optimization, and quality control methods.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills!

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with advanced plating technologies, chemical and equipment.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to plating processes.

  • Certification in relevant technical areas.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
