St. Luke's Health System Registered Nurse - Boise Inpatient Neuro (Night shift) in Boise, Idaho

Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time, Night shift position with our Inpatient Medical/Surgical Neuro team!

Boise Neuro med/surg unit is a 34 bed Surgical unit that is an ideal place to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population.Our surgical cases include allspine surgeries (neck and back, including pediatric (13years or older) scoliosis; all cranial (brain) surgeries including brain tumor removal, neuro-vascular surgeries/neuro-interventional procedures, etc.; VP shunt placement for hydrocephalus; Deep Brain Stimulators for Parkinson’s patients; and caring for all stroke patients.Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit are 1:3-4. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1:8-12.

Qualifications

  • Education: Nursing Degree

  • Experience: 1+ years of RN experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practiceand Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
