Overview

What You Can Expect:

  • Under direct supervision, the Quality Program Specialist 1 coordinates, monitors, and improves quality programs and practices.

  • Coordinate quality program initiatives and lead teams in activities, using appropriate tools and techniques. Assist staff and leaders in measuring performance and identifying improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with medical staff, employees, leaders, and teams to deliver on program objectives. Provide evidence-based and regulation-compliant consultation and advice as a subject matter point-of-contact.

  • Solve simple issues within the quality program and escalate complex issues to department leadership or collaborate with peers.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities and improvement efforts supporting system strategic initiatives. Evaluate and prioritize projects, develop action plans, and accept assignments based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
