HP Inc. Project Manager in Boise, Idaho

This role is responsible for collaborating on transition programs across functions, ensuring successful transition of operational responsibility for contracted Managed Print Services from the customer to HP and aligning project plans with overarching strategies. The roles responsibilities will be carried out offsite / remotely. The Project Manager will apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle complex and unique situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages customer project delivery.

  • Large/ moderately complex/ local or sub- region.

  • Meets or exceeds approved budgets.

  • Provides reliable hardware order forecasts to management.

  • Identifies and develops new opportunities on current projects.

  • Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities.

  • Acts as opportunity manager for medium to high-risk deals.

  • Manages client relationships.

  • Manages mid to upper-level client delivery relationships.

  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.

Education and Experience:

  • First Level University degree

  • PMP Certification preferred

  • 5 years of experience in project management or in like roles/businesses

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Speaks with expertise to many layers of depth related to project management methods.

  • On a development plan leading to higher PM skills.

  • Strong people management skills, typically with indirect reports.

  • Apply effective project management methods.

  • Analyze and resolve problems.

  • Focus on customers.
