SHI Global Sales Director - Systems Integrator in Boise, Idaho

Job Summary

The Global Sales Director – Systems Integrators will be responsible for leading and expanding SHI Global Sales business within the Systems Integrator sector on a global scale. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership and deep industry knowledge, while having extensive experience working either for or with Systems Integrators. This includes, but is not limited to, mentoring, developing, and overseeing a team of global sales account executives across a portfolio of strategic Systems Integrator accounts. The Global Sales Director is responsible for working with all team members to expand SHI’s overall business footprint within existing and future customers to include a broader set of products and services that will optimize the value SHI brings to our customers and ensure our long- term success with each of them. This requires a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with SHI’s overall business objectives.

The Global Sales Director will report to the Global Sales Vice President – Systems Integrators and Service Providers.

This position is a remote position however may be required to report to SHI Headquarters in Somerset, NJ as required for business needs as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

  • Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the Systems Integrator market

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and product development

  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a global sales team to achieve high performance and meet sales targets

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the sales team

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Systems Integrators and partners

  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded

  • Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's footprint within the Systems Integrator market

  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives

  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies

  • Sales Operations:

  • Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-making

  • Implement and manage sales tools and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years’ direct selling experience on major accounts deemed large, complex and/or international in scope

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales leadership role within the Systems Integrator or related industry

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets on a global scale

  • Strong understanding of and experience working in the Systems Integrators market

Unique Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 which includes a base salary and commission. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
