Summary

This job is a senior-level supervisor responsible for selecting, training, and supervising office coordinators in performance of office business functions related to and including: office professionalism, customer service, AR/AP accounting, record management and retention, invoicing and the cohesive management of office functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, and train all SGS administrative and coordinator employees within the Area. Direct the use of Standard Operating Procedures to unify process in Branches Area wide for the following business functions: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Procurement. While actively developing process improvements that help support the goals and objectives of the Great Plains Strategic Business Plan.

  • Review, analyze, and develop more efficient operating procedures for all functions processed through Agvance at all locations within the Area. Work directly with operation supervisors to help maximize the total efficiency of all support staff, bridging the gaps that occur between the operational and inner office functions of the SGS retail business.

  • Train branch staff within the district on standard procedures, forms, and policies that will help to unify the business throughout the Area and consistent with the state while recognizing the specific district needs.

  • Managing 3rd party contracts, licenses and (COI) contract of Insurance when needed.

  • Crucial role in supporting the Regional Operations Managers and Region Managers for any administrative operations within the organization.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the other Office Coordinators in the Great Plains region.

  • Lead for Administrative responsibilities related to Agsync (dispatching software) and Agvance.

  • Key contributor for Office Coordinator interviews in the Great plains’ region.

  • Assist with onboarding for new hires in this area and have the ability to reach outside of this region for support when needed.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

5+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, with 1-2 in a supervisory capacity

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in office software applications (eg. Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
