We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaged engineer who can complement our existing practices and capabilities to support our growing environmental engineering staff. Candidates will have a degree/advanced degree in environmental engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience. You will independently manage all aspects of multiple or large projects from a technical/administrative aspect and assist the environmental and environmental compliance groups with their engineering needs. Train and mentor junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate civil engineering activities for integrated service projects, including site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure design.

Prepare design briefs, concept design reports, and final design documentation, including specifications, standards, budget estimates, and construction drawings.

Supervise construction works, ensuring compliance with technical documentation, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Implement quality control procedures and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Contribute to the development of project strategies and plans to optimize delivery and performance

Will work closely with internal SEQRA team

Qualifications-

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline

4-year Engineering Technology Degree.

Professional Engineer License (PE)

Experience

5+ years of experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Effective technical writing skills. MS Office, AutoCad, and Civil 3D. Strong ability to effectively communicate technical information to all types of people, both verbally and in writing; multitask and coordinate confusing and often conflicting priorities; strong communication, decision-making, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Contractor oversight and organizational skills.

Full time / Exempt

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
