PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN EVENING SCHEDULE - 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Guide a team as well as individually adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect, reassuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Actively seeks and supports continuous improvement activities in process efficiency, costs and effectiveness of work and implement sustainable improvements
Implementation of procedural/policy changes to enhance department performance - Ensures tasks are completed within set deadlines.
Works effectively in a multitask environment and consistently tracks the progress of ongoing initiative. - Enforce safety policies and work habits
Monitors productivity making sure efficiency, cost and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met on a daily basis
Develop, supervise, coach and counsel associates on a regular basis
Keeps accurate attendance records; files proper reports (accident, probation, etc)
Promote a teamwork environment
Step in as needed to be a hands on Supervisor
Work between tactical and strategic activities to support process improvement and Lean manufacturing practices
Qualifications
Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Military background is a plus.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role within a manufacturing environment required
Lean manufacturing experience a plus
Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Applications skills is required
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
