This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY office.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.

The idea candidate will be entering either their Junior or Senior year at a 4-year accredited college or university, and be able to work a minimum of 16 hours during the school semesters (flexible hours) and 40 hours during summer breaks (full days). This internship could lead to regular, full-time employment.

The salary range for this position is $23-$25 per hour depending upon experience.

Position Summary:

This is an internship position for the organization-s Engineering Department. The primary role of an Engineering Intern is to gain hands-on experience working alongside our engineering team. You-ll be involved in designing, simulating, testing, and debugging hardware. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and develop essential skills in hardware development.

Key Position Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of electronic hardware components and systems.

  • Support the creation of component selection, schematics and documentation package.

  • Participate in testing and validation of hardware prototypes and systems.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues.

  • Document test procedures/results and present findings.

  • Ability to research, analyze and present various data information.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Emphasis of course work should be Hardware Digital Design and Network Solutions.

  • Familiar with digital and analog circuit design, including components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.

  • Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design tools, (i.e Cadence Orcad/Allegro).

  • Experience with basic test equipment (i.e. DMM, Oscilloscope Function Generators).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
