A manufacturing company in Suffolk County, NY is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team! As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our electro-mechanical systems. Responsibilities

  • Interpret and comprehend electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and schematics related to PLCs.

  • Work with 3-phase electrical systems, ensuring safe and proper installation, maintenance, and operation.

  • Understand the principles of 3-phase power distribution and effectively troubleshoot related problems.

  • Manage and maintain electrical systems operating at 480 volts, adhering to safety protocols and local regulations.

  • Perform routine inspections and repair work on 480-volt equipment to maintain optimal functionality.

  • Install and maintain start/stop circuits to control the operation of machinery and equipment.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to start/stop circuits to ensure seamless operation.

  • Diagnose and repair issues with various types of sensors, including passive and fiber optic sensors.

  • Calibrate and align sensors to ensure precise readings and reliable performance.

  • Execute scheduled maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and optimize system performance.

  • Identify potential problems and proactively address them to minimize unplanned downtime.
