Key responsibilities and authority

  • Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.

  • Full responsibility from infrastructure design, build and operate standpoint.

  • Assure AWS Cloud operations being responsible for their 24/7 operation.

  • Collaborates with IT security, to maintain systems without vulnerabilities when possible, and react if necessary.

  • Work with change requests & incident monitoring system (ServiceNow)

  • Is responsible for maintaining the integrity of AWS Cloud Infra systems through change, for the AWS Team and ensures systems can operate and respond effectively to fluctuating capacity demands.

  • Writing/updating technical design, build and process documentation.

  • Provide technical support during disaster and Perform Root Cause Analysis

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis

Key requirements

  • At Least 3 years of hands-on experience in concepts for AWS Cloud design and implementation

  • Extended understanding of version control and AWS cloud services.

  • Aptitude in developing for operational concerns (monitoring integration, performance testing, security considerations)

  • Knowledge of networking technologies, e.g., IP, DNS, firewalling, load-balancing, and VPNs

  • Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.

  • Given problems to investigate, Identifying potential project obstacles, present findings.

  • Support the project team, assisting on maintenance, monitoring and documentation.

  • Good English Level (B2 or above), certification it's not required.

Position overview

Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS through the Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined with IaC - Terraform 30%

Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems and Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization (FinOps) 10%

Implement and support Private Cloud infrastructure platforms (Kubernetes, Virtualization, Storage, Backups) 30%

Collaborate with architecture and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions and with PMO teams as SMEs for technical advisory, project planning and optimal deployment 10%.

Writes specifications and documentation for the cloud infra and platforms 20%.
