Responsible for performing assigned secondary operations

• Set up, adjust, and operate equipment used to complete the secondary operations

• Load and unload machines using a crane when required

• Follow recipe to prepare mixture for the secondary operation (i.e., mix Everlube and ethanal)

• Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to measure, examine or test product to conform to quality requirements

• Inspect product for compliance with product specifications.

• Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled

• Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs

• Maintain tools in proper operational condition

• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to finish products.

• Move completed parts to next manufacturing routes per standard work processes

• Contribute to HPT and participate in team-meetings.

• Wear proper PPE and follow all set safety guidelines

• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or lead designee

Education, Credentials and Previous Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical Depth and Breadth:

• Basic knowledge of and ability to use web-based programs for labeling and other business applications (MSS).

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow manufacturing instructions or standard work process

• Working knowledge of basic simple mechanical mechanisms.

• Knowledge of machine set up, product change overs, gages, measurement instruments, product sequence, and documentation.

• Ability to read and understand engineering tables and work instructions to operate equipment for the secondary operation. Produce parts per engineering specifications. Demonstrates level of computer literacy to access Job and input data.
