Title:Project and Partner Development Coordinator

Reports to:Director of Domestic Operations

Collaboration: This position will closely collaborate with the Director of New Initiatives on the Major Donor work.

LSM Staff Qualifications:

  1. Be a committed follower of Jesus, seeking to be conformed to His image in both personal and professional life.
  2. Agree with LSMs Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision and Core Values.
  3. Be committed to faithful intercession on behalf of vulnerable children and LSM.
  4. Fit well within LSMs team-first culture.

Additional Qualifications:

  1. Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to listen to donors well.
  2. Be eager to communicate the ministrys vision and needs and graciously call people to financially invest in LSM.
  3. View fundraising as relational rather than transactional.
  4. Be a self-starter who works well autonomously and maintains high energy and motivation.
  5. Be willing to travel up to several times per month.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Make particular effort to effectively continue LSMs current relationships with Major Donors (i.e., businesses and individuals whom the LORD has blessed with significant resources).
  2. Develop new relationships with individuals, businesses, and churches who may be interested in engaging prayerfully and financially with LSM.
  3. Make particular effort to reach out to businesses and individuals who are outside the Apostolic Christian denomination.
  4. Maintain and deepen the newly developed relationships with the goal of seeing them prayerfully and financially invest in LSM and develop as a follower of Jesus.
  5. Graciously ask individuals, businesses and/or churches to engage with LSM prayerfully and financially.
  6. Take an active mobilization approach to the local community and geographic location.
  7. Work closely with the other mobilization staff to reach annual organization-wide fundraising goals that have been set by management.
  8. Communicate clearly and consistently with supervisors and co-workers about work being performed, relationships being developed, and plans for future efforts.
  9. As new staff members are added or the department expands, be willing to mentor less experienced staff.
  10. Recognizing that it is ultimately God who stirs the heart to give, fulfill all tasks with humility respect, and patience - trusting that God will provide.
