Job Description: Specialty Granules LLC has an opening for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at their Plant in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. This is a great position for an outgoing, eager and ambitious individual. Reporting to the Site Manager, the CSR is to effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements as it pertains to our company, its products, and our services. Communicate these requirements to the Site Manager, Sales Team, as well as Production and Operations, to inform and update them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.

Essential Duties include:

Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner

Manage telephone calls efficiently and professionally

Attend to customer questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and facilitate  satisfactory results

Process billing

Coordinate and manage rail cars fleet, as needed by location

Understand and appropriately use company policies and pricing systems

Effectively describe and discuss the products and services in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity, and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs

Understand mining and manufacturing process

Perform other duties as assigned

Technical knowledge/skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.

Experience using SAP software is preferred but not required.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to multitask and have strong organizational skills and be able to meet tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:

A HS Diploma is required with 0 to 2 years of customer service experience preferably within a call center or large manufacturing environment or mining industry.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office setting on a laptop computer but occasionally will require to be outdoors within the Plant environment as needed.

Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs., standing or sitting for extended periods, extended or irregular hours, bending, climbing, kneeling, stooping, walking on uneven terrain.
