Job Title: Electronics Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Duration: 6+ Months Contract with potential for this position to go from temp to perm

Rate: $20/hr

Working hours are typically 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday. Exact scheduling needs to be discussed with manager.

Job Description

Advanced electronic repair technician with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits and equipment

Ability to troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment

Ability to operate a soldering and rework station

Ability to train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment

Ability to lead a team, organize and oversee projects

Knowledge to load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required

Working knowledge to update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems

Ability to work within a team environment and use effective communication

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment

Operate a soldering and rework station

Train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment

Lead a team, organize and oversee projects

Perform electronic component replacement

Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces

Load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required

Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems

Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts

Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices

Work within a team environment and use effective communication

Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues

Utilize company email system to send and receive messages

Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion

Comply with all department and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have an advanced level of experience repairing electronic devices. These candidates should have more experience and perform at a higher level than the candidates you may have been submitting for the Level 1 roles previously.

Need to have electronic repair experience, not just laptop repair experience

​The ideal candidate would have experience doing board level troubleshooting and component repairs on electronic devices and circuits.

Candidates with supervisor or lead technician experience are a plus.
