Shoffner Acquisition Corp Construction Project Manager in Blountville, Tennessee

Comfort Systems USA, Bristol is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. In this role, you will manage large commercial construction projects. Your first project will be to assist the main project manager in the Hard Rock Casino contract.

    Your main Tasks:

  • Plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from cradle to grave.

  • Obtain all necessary regulations and permits.

  • Order necessary material, coordinate equipment required, and manage all change orders.

  • Ensure projects align with agreed-upon plans. Be flexible about changes required on site.

  • Manage Foreman and/or Superintendent.

  • Communicate with clients and deliver progress reports.

  • Adhere to budget, timeline, and quality control plans.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists.

  • Ensure all building codes and regulations are followed.

  • Work with the Safety Department to ensure the upmost safety standards are upheld.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Experience or Certification needed:

  • 10+ years of Commercial Construction experience.

  • 2+ years of Project Management is preferred.

  • OSHA 10 required. OSHA 30 highly preferred.

    You need to be able to:

  • Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.

  • Be punctual and reliable.

  • Work as a team.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and workers.

  • Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.

  • Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.

  • Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.

  • Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
