PETERS CONSULTANTS, INC. Assistant Civil Engineer in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

Local firm is looking for a permanent, full-time *Assistant Civil Engineer *for full-service consulting, engineering and land surveying firm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply theory and principles of civil engineering in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities. The company provides services to clients within a hundred (100) mile radius of Columbia County. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MUST MEET THE BELOW CRITERIA:

  • Have a current resume that includes work history, skills/qualifications, education/certifications/licenses/degree(s) & three (3) professional references
  • Be familiar with all aspects of civil engineering & structural design
  • Possess land development and subdivision knowledge
  • Contracts document writing experience
  • Stormwater and wastewater management
  • Communicate effectively in oral & written form
  • Valid PA Driver's license & willingness to travel to assigned job sites

The following experience is highly preferred, but not required:

  • Water and wastewater treatment, site development, higher education or transportation industries
  • Stormwater planning, design, and construction phase services
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Design Tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

WORK HOURS / SHIFT

Schedule will be discussed directly with the employer and will be based on job needs.

RATE OF PAY

Rate of pay will be discussed directly with the employer and will be based on relevant experience.

BENEFITS

Employer paid medical, health and any other benefits will be discussed directly with the employer and will begin after ninety (90) days of employment.
